Thank you for a *SOLD OUT* Two Nights Under The Stars

We had so much fun during our recent event, “Two Nights Under the Stars,” in Everglades National Park.

This sold-out event offered attendees the chance to explore the natural beauty of the park while also learning about its conservation efforts. The weekend was jam-packed with fun activities such as kayaking on the bay, hiking and listening to ranger-led talks about the park’s wildlife and history.

The highlight of the weekend for many was the opportunity to listen to Ron Magill speak about all of the amazing wildlife inside Florida’s National Parks.
But the fun didn’t stop there. During the day, we explored the park’s diverse ecosystems and learned about the conservation efforts to protect the endangered species that call the Everglades home. We had the opportunity to kayak through Florida Bay and learn about the native birds of the Everglades. Plus! Some lucky campers even saw Flamingos!

The weekend was a huge success and everyone had a blast. The sold-out event was a testament to the growing interest and support for the Everglades and the Alliance for Florida’s National Parks’ mission to protect and preserve the park for future generations. Thank you to the park rangers, Ron Magill, and our amazing volunteers for helping us put on such a wonderful event!

If you missed this event, don’t worry! The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks offers various events throughout the year that provide opportunities to explore and learn about the Everglades. Keep an eye on their website and social media for upcoming events and be sure to join in next year!

See you on January 19th, 2024!
