Wine & Wildlife began in 2016 as a small gathering of Naples-based supporters showing their support for Florida’s national parks and since has blossomed into a full-blown gala-style affair.
Hosted by The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks, Wine & Wildlife is an opportunity for the community to meet native wildlife in Southwest Florida, learn directly from park rangers about the wonders of these fantastic animals, and raise crucial funding for our park programs.
At the event, witness award presentations, try delicious hors d’ Oeuvres, and sip on exquisite wine. In addition, enjoy a silent and live auction with unique items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences throughout the parks.
Wine & Wildlife is a fundraiser to raise awareness for the ever-expanding range of programs that The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks supports throughout Everglades, Biscayne, and Dry Tortugas National Parks, as well as Big Cypress National Preserve.
Each year, The Alliance funds 20+ programs ranging from youth education and exploration to preservation and restoration.
A special portion of the live auction will benefit the youth education program, Swamp Water and Me, better known as S.W.A.M.P, at Big Cypress National Preserve. All 6th-grade students in Collier County attend this free educational program each year.
