Filmmaking and Conservation Across South Florida’s National Parks and Cuba

It’s the bug days of summer in south Florida, but don’t let that stop you from experiencing your national parks. Join us at Lincoln’s Beard Brewery for local brews and tales of exploration and conservation by filmmaker Richard Kern from Odyssey Earth.  Come along as Richard shares his work in Everglades, Biscayne, and Big Cypress. Get a big picture look at our South Florida national parks through his newest projects working in parallel ecosystems on the island of Cuba.

Last year he presented his film Empires of the Sun to over 40,000 middle and senior high school students.
