Let’s Go Camping! Grab the kids, pack a tent and join SFNPT members Rainer & Noel Schael on Saturday January 28 for the 9th annual Family CAMP weekend in Everglades National Park. The event brings families together for a weekend of fun in Flamingo with ranger programs, arts & crafts, a campfire, a cookout, and a night of camping. The registration fee of $50 per person ($25 kids) includes park entrance, campsite, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and a campfire program for kids. Event proceeds benefit Camping Adventure with My Parents (CAMP), an Everglades National Park program that introduces families to camping in a national park.

Saturday AM: Ranger Hike @ Anhinga Trail
Saturday Noon: Check in @ Flamingo Campground
Saturday PM: NPS Programs followed by CAMP Dinner and a campfire program for kids
Sunday AM: CAMP Breakfast
What to Bring: Camping gear, cameras, bicycles, bug spray, food for lunch on Saturday (or enjoy the Buttonwood Cafe next to the Flamingo Visitor Center).
