Want to do something really scary this Halloween? Join Clyde and Niki Butcher in the Big Cypress National Preserve on October 29 and 30 for their annual Halloween Muck-About, with ranger-led swamps walks both Saturday and Sunday. The swamp walks leave every hour on the hour, both days from 9 AM to 2 PM, with rangers from Big Cypress National Preserve to lead the way. The cost is $50.00 per person (children free with paid adults). All proceeds from this year’s walks will support environmental education programs for 6th-grade students in Big Cypress National Preserve.
These swamp walks sell out every year, so reservations are recommended at www.clydebutcher.com
Clyde will be on hand to sign autographs at the Big Cypress Gallery, with a special exhibit of his photographs featuring 33 of the nation’s 59 national parks. The exhibit and a companion book celebrate the centennial anniversary of the National Park Service in 2016.
