Join The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks for an unforgettable weekend adventure at Flamingo in Everglades National Park. Whether you’re an experienced camper or a first-timer, this event welcomes everyone. As the official nonprofit partner of Big Cypress National Preserve and Biscayne, Dry Tortugas, and Everglades National Parks, The Alliance uses the power of philanthropy to support education, exploration, and conservation.
Weekend Activities & Adventures
- Painting Session with Magnus Sodamin (capacity reached): Miami-based artist Magnus Sodamin will lead a conservation-inspired painting experience. Space is limited.
- Wildlife Program with Ron Magill: Presentation by Zoo Miami’s Goodwill Ambassador and renowned wildlife expert, known for award-winning films and photography.
- Star Party with Dr. Douglas Roberts: Enjoy guided digital telescope viewing and night-sky interpretation with the President & CEO of the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.
Additional activities include kayaking, guided hikes, campfires, s’mores, and ranger-led programs regularly offered by NPS in Flamingo.
Campsite Details:
- Each campsite includes a picnic table and a fire ring. The max capacity at each campsite is 2 tents and 6 people. Please bring your own tent, sleeping gear, and any other personal supplies. PDF of Campground.
- The $35 entrance fee to Everglades National Park is not included in the ticket price.
Meals: If you purchase a meal plan, it will include dinner on Friday, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. A vegan option will be available.
