SFNPT Welcomes new West Coast Coordinator Sally Wilson

July 2019 — The South Florida National Parks Trust (SFNPT) has named Sally Wilson as the organization’s new West Coast Coordinator. Wilson has over 20 years of experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, stewardship, marketing and public speaking.

In her new role, Sally will help to ensure the success of fundraising and outreach efforts in Southwest Florida and advance the mission of the SFNPT to promote, preserve, and enhance South Florida’s national parks – Big Cypress, Everglades, Biscayne, and Dry Tortugas. She will manage the 5th Annual 2020 Wine & Wildlife event and work to increase membership at the SFNPT.

Most recently, Sally served as the annual giving officer at Avow Hospice, where she was responsible for the strategic direction and development of the foundation’s annual giving program, management of all fundraising events and starting the employee giving program.

Previously she spent 10 years working in development and special events at Lee Health Foundation and at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
