Volunteer: Cypress Tree Planting
Volunteer with the SFNPT to plant cypress trees in Big Cypress National Preserve. On Saturday, August 19th we will plant 150 cypress trees along Turner River Road as part of restoration work in the park. Trees will be planted at sites newly cleared of invasive plant species and at several new culvert locations in the park. Volunteer: National Public Lands Day
We invite you to volunteer with us in Biscayne National Park for National Public Lands Day 2018 to help us #KeepBiscayneBeautiful! We will be cleaning up marine debris from the mangrove shoreline South of Black Point Marina. We are looking for volunteers to bring their own paddlecraft (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, etc) to access the shallow mangrove shoreline AND/OR volunteers that have shallow-draft motorized vessels to help transport garbage back to shore.
